Michael has 15+ years of experience in Immunology, with particular expertise in myeloid biology, innate immunology, pathophysiology, microscopy, and data analysis. Previously, Michael worked at Applied Molecular Transport, where he helped scientific matrix teams to execute complex experiments. He was also Pulmonary Research Fellow at the University of Michigan Medical School, where he was the project leader for a team developing a ratiometric live-cell microscopy technique for the detection of lysosomal damage in cells. Michael is excited to tap modern scientific understandings and technical breakthroughs to develop novel ways to therapeutically modulate innate immune pathways and inflammation. Outside of work Michael loves spending time with his young family, cooking, and playing a bit of soccer.
